Organisational Structure
The policies and decisions of the Digital Humanities Alliance for Research and Teaching Innovations (DHARTI) is governed by the members of the Executive Board. The members of the Board must also be members of the Alliance. The Board shall place before the General Body any important policy matter or legislation for discussion. The agenda for the General Body Meeting (GBM) should be circulated to ALL members before the meeting.
Governance
The following twelve members of the Governing Body were elected after a voting process at the conclusion of the DHARTI 2022 and DHARTI 2024 conference:
Dr. Arjun Ghosh is a Professor at IIT Delhi whose research interests include Digital Humanities, Performance Studies, and Technology in Society.
Dr. Dibyadyuti Roy is an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds whose research interests lie at the intersection of Digital Humanities, Cultural Studies, and Media Studies.
Dr. Ruchi Sharma is an Associate Professor of English at Guru Nanak Dev University, with research interests spanning English language, literature, and Digital Humanities.
Dr. Shanmugapriya T. is an Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad whose research interests include Digital Humanities, Digital Literature, and Digital Environmental Humanities.
Dr. Natasa Thoudam is an Associate Professor at IIT Jodhpur whose research interests bring together Digital Humanities, Comics Studies, Gender Studies, Performance Studies, and Religious Studies.
Saim Raza is a scholar of English at Aligarh Muslim University whose research interests include Digital Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Media Studies, and Cultural Studies.
Samya Brata Roy works at the intersection of Visual Culture, Electronic Literature, Videogame Studies, and Digital Humanities, and is a co-founder of Electronic Literature India.
Dr. Steven S. George is a Digital Humanities scholar whose research interests include Medical Humanities, Artificial Intelligence, and decoloniality, and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College, London.
Vasundhra Dahiya is a Digital Humanities scholar whose research focuses on Critical AI, data and algorithmic systems, with particular interest in algorithmic accountability and AI governance.
Dr. Soni Wadhwa works at the intersection of Digital Humanities and Sindhi Studies, using digital archives to preserve and make accessible Sindhi literary and cultural heritage.
Dr. Vinayak Das Gupta is an Associate Professor at Shiv Nadar University whose research interests include Digital Humanities, archival practice, and computational approaches to cultural history.
Himanshu Sihag is a Digital Humanities researcher working on machine translation and language technologies for low-resource and underserved Indian languages.
