DHARTI Speaks! #3 (2025): DH and AI Futures: Pathways, Possibilities, and Perils

As the third session of the DHARTI Speaks! series, DH and AI Futures: Pathways, Possibilities, and Perils was held on 2 August 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM (IST). The panel brought together Dr. Dibyadyuti Roy (University of Leeds, UK),  Dr. Soni Wadhwa (SRM Univerity), Vasundhra Dahiya (IIT Jodhpur), Dr. Vinayak Dasgupta (Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence, India), Himanshu Sihag (IIT Jodhpur), and Steven S. George (Jamia Millia Islamia, India) to discuss the emerging relationship between Digital Humanities and Artificial Intelligence. The discussion explored the pathways, possibilities, and potential perils of AI in humanities research and practice, considering both the opportunities offered by emerging technologies and the methodological, ethical and disciplinary questions they raise.
