SUMMARY:IIT Delhi DHWS3 (2027): Digital Storytelling
DESCRIPTION:The third Digital Humanities Winter School (DHWS3) will be organised by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences\, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) from 4–9 January 2027 at the IIT Delhi campus. Building on the previous editions of DHWS\, the 2027 edition shifts its focus towards Digital Storytelling\, Electronic Literature and Game Studies\, combining conceptual discussions with practical training in digital tools and creative methods. \nThe programme will include an online pre-Winter School bootcamp on Python and Ren’Py\, introducing programming concepts and their application to branching narratives and visual-novel design. The in-person programme will cover narrative prototyping\, Electronic Literature and Twine\, perspectives on data analysis in textual research\, and narrative annotation and machine learning.
